Small frame. Soft voice. Not who the room pictured when it heard the word finance. New York was the first place that got her wrong, and the first place she learned that being underestimated is a door people leave unlocked.

About

Hi, I’m Monique.

I have spent my career walking into rooms built for someone else. Finance first. Then several years as a talent agent and agency owner working with clients and top talent on six-figure deals. Along the way I founded De Vitesse, an automotive media and production agency trusted with OEM-scale production work. Over a decade in those rooms, with Fortune 500 companies, sports organizations, and high-profile entrepreneurs, I built a reputation for designing marketing systems that attract opportunities and turn them into partnerships that scale.

None of it happened because I was the loudest person in the room. It happened because I was the most prepared. I have been underestimated my whole career, for my size, my voice, the way I look, and I stopped treating that as a problem a long time ago. It is leverage and I would rather exceed expectations than manage them.

That is what you will find here: the rooms, the lessons, and everything I have learned building a career people did not see coming, so the next underestimated woman knows exactly how far she can go :)

Off the clock

Yes, the car thing is real.

A BMW E92 project car in the garage. A Porsche Macan as the daily. A GT3 Touring on the dream board. My whole family is into cars. The obsession came first, and then the career followed it lol

Fun fact: I shot car photography back in highschool long before I worked in this industry, and today, I still lose whole weekends to car shows.
